Qualifications

• Doctoral-level qualification in OT/PT/related field.
• Current OT/PT license or eligibility.
• 5 years clinical experience.
• Advanced knowledge of Assistive Technology.
• Ability to perform wheelchair assessment and funding documentation.

Responsibilities

• Provide academic instruction for departmental courses, including the Assistive Technology Certificate program, focusing on seating and wheeled mobility and alternative digital access.
• Coordinate and deliver comprehensive assistive technology services in seating and wheeled mobility, home modifications, and alternative digital access.
• Provide clinical education, training, and mentorship to undergraduate and graduate students across disciplines.
• Supervise students during the Assistive Technology Certificate fieldwork in seating and wheeled mobility and digital access.
• Collaborate to support insurance billing processes and cost containment strategies for assistive technology services.
• Conduct outcome-focused AT research, contributes to presentations and peer-reviewed publications.
• Perform other related duties and participate in special projects.
