Job summary

Essentia Health seeks a part-time 0.6 FTE caregiver to assist in the ambulatory podiatry setting. The role involves supporting RN/physicians and delivering direct patient care across ages. Flexible shifts, day hours, and potential travel to the Duluth Clinic are noted.

The candidate will demonstrate competencies in required MA/LPN credentials and BCLS, with weekend-free scheduling and 8-hour day shifts from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM.

• Medical Assistant program completion or current registration/c certification within hire.
• Current LPN licensure in the relevant state.
• BCLS certification, or ability to obtain within 3 months.

Job Description:

Assists RN, Physician and other providers and provides direct patient care in the ambulatory care setting to contribute to meeting the mission and goals of Essentia Health. Will perform identified procedures for which competencies have been demonstrated. Cares for patients ranging in age from newborn to elderly as noted on age-related category.

Education Qualifications:

This position will work the following:

• 48 hours per 2 weeks
• No Weekends
• 8 Hour Shifts
• Day Shift: 8:00AM - 4:30PM
• Potentially float to the Duluth Clinic

Licensure/Certification Qualifications:

We invite individuals at all stages of their careers to apply if they hold ANY of the following credentials:

• Medical Assistant: Current registration or certification as a Medical Assistant OR Completion of a Medical Assistant Program, with certification required within one year of hire (must pass certification within two attempts)
• LPN: Current licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in the relevant state
• Medical Assistant/LPN: Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certified, or able to obtain within 3 months.
