Job summary

Almara Women's Health in Edina is seeking a Clinical Assistant to support physicians with diagnostics, treatments, and patient care. You will escort patients, obtain vitals, and prepare rooms for visits, while coordinating referrals and documentation.

Requirements include a High School diploma or GED, medical assistant certification preferred, and 1–2 years in a clinic. Excellent communication and attention to detail are essential in this hands-on role.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Medical Assistant certification preferred but not required.
• 1–2 years of recent medical clinic experience preferred.
• Superior communication skills and patient care.

Responsibilities

• Escort patient to room, obtain vitals and document history.
• Prepare room for visit type and assist with procedures.
• Assist providers with pre/post op appointments and procedures.
• Distribute patient education materials as requested.
• Process referrals and provide scheduling information.
• Assist with informed consent forms and route to Medical Records.
• Handle patient calls regarding health issues and document.
• Call in prescriptions after provider review.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
