Job summary

Charles B. Wang Community Health Center is seeking a Full Time Clinical Assistant in Flushing, NY.

The role reports to the Director of Clinical Administration and focuses on supporting clinical operations, immunization records, and data entry in the EHR system. The ideal candidate has a high school diploma, healthcare exposure, bilingual English/Chinese, and excellent communication and organizational skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Healthcare setting experience preferred.
• Bilingual in English and Chinese.
• Excellent communication, organizational and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Monitor patients appointment no-shows and overdue clinical and administrative orders.
• Coordinate timely follow-up and rescheduling.
• Support coordination, tracking, and reporting of immunization records.
• Ensure accurate and timely EHR data entry and support pre-charting for immunizations and labs.
• Monitor clinical and dental supply inventory and support replenishment.
• Support quality assurance activities, program reporting, and patient follow-up.
