Job summary

Orlando Health Watson Clinic Lakeland Highlands Hospital seeks a Clinical Assistant Nurse Manager to lead shift operations in a high-acuity setting, ensuring high-quality care, patient flow, and exceptional customer experience.

You will collaborate with Nursing Operations leadership, assign staffing based on acuity, monitor patient status, and support frontline teams while promoting safety, regulatory readiness, and delivery of evidence-based care in a NICU-capable environment.

Qualifications

• BSN preferred.
• Minimum of one year as a Registered Nurse; acute care preferred.
• Current Florida RN licensure or NLC.
• Current BLS certification.
• Certification in area of expertise; preferred.
• May require ACLS, PALS, NRP, TNCC based on patient population.

Responsibilities

• Lead shift operations to ensure high-quality patient care and customer experience.
• Manage staffing assignments based on acuity and team skills.
• Coordinate patient flow with Supervisors, Care Coordinators, and Discharge Planners.
• Monitor patient status, especially for seriously ill patients, and ensure compliance with policies.
