Institute for Orthopedics & Chiropractic is seeking a Clinical Assistant to join our team at the Eden Prairie and St. Paul clinics. You will greet and room patients, assist doctors with charting and EHRs, and guide patients through home exercises and self-care programs.

The role supports chiropractics, physical therapy, massage, acupuncture, dry needling, and functional medicine. Local travel may be required and compensation is hourly.

Formación

• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Consistent and punctual attendance is required.
• Proficient typing and computer skills.
• Basic knowledge of anatomy and exercise.
• Experience in a clinical setting preferred.
• Chiropractic or physical therapy clinical experience a plus.
• Regularly stand, walk, use hands to type, lift up to 25 pounds with assistance.
• Uses standard office and gym equipment, ultrasound machines.
• Local travel may be required 5% of the time.

Responsabilidades

• Follow IOC workflows and policies to ensure a safe, clean, and collaborative workplace and excellent patient experience.
• Greet and room patients.
• Assist doctors with patient charting/electronic health records following IOC workflows and policies.
• Instruct patients in doctor-directed home exercise and self-care programs.
• Provide doctor-directed manual therapy/soft tissue techniques to patients.
• Administer therapeutic ultrasound.
• Ensure completion of prior authorizations and other required paperwork.
• Communicate important patient information with the doctor and front desk/billing as needed.
• Maintain treatment rooms and inventory supplies; notify when low.
• Contribute to a clean, safe, and collaborative workplace; participate in meetings.
