Clinical Assistant - Inpatient & Outpatient Float - 40 hours

Job Details

This Clinical Assistant Will Be Responsible For:

1. Providing basic direct care to patients under supervision, in inpatient and outpatient settings, as delegated by a Registered Nurse.
2. Assisting patients with feeding and hygiene, recording routine information such as temperature, pulse, and blood pressure, and performing related duties based on specific needs.
3. Monitoring patient safety, including 1:1 care for suicide watches and behavior management.
4. Transporting patients, supplies, and equipment as needed.
5. Reporting unusual findings or changes in patient condition to a Registered Nurse.
6. Working a schedule of 40 hours/week, with 8-hour day shifts and every third weekend, with start times between 7 am and 9 am depending on clinic needs.

Qualifications

1. At least 1 year of Clinical Assistant experience or equivalent.
2. Experience working with children is strongly preferred.
3. High School Diploma or equivalent.
4. Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
