Talentify in the Capital Region of New York is seeking Clinical Assistants to support residents with developmental disabilities in residential programs. Rate of pay is commensurate with experience, program acuity, and training completions, with openings at multiple locations throughout the Capital Region.

Candidates must have a High School diploma or equivalent (Associates preferred), at least 1 year of relevant experience, and be able to lift 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required; Associate degree preferred.
• At least 1 year of work experience with Developmental Disabilities.
• Must be at least 18 years old to apply.
• Must lift a minimum of 50 pounds and have a valid NYS driver’s license.
• Certifications (OPWDD, First Aid/CPR, SCIP-R) must be completed within 3 months.

Responsabilités

• Assist, provide and promote independence in daily treatment and services.
• Serve on planning, implementation and interdisciplinary teams.
• Assist in implementing individualized residential habilitation services.
• Respect personal choices, lifestyles and dignity while managing informed risk.
