Job summary

MercyOne Genesis Davenport Medical Center in Davenport, IA seeks a Clinical Assistant for the ER. The role supports patient care, monitors cardiac rhythms under RN supervision, and aligns with Genesis Medical Center standards.

This is a full-time second-shift position (11am-11:30pm or 1pm-1:30am) with a 0.9 FTE schedule and every-other-weekend cadence. Required high school diploma and relevant licensure such as CNA or Medical Assistant; Basic Life Support is preferred.

Qualifications

• CNA, Medical Assistant, or equivalent licensure/registration is required or preferred.
• Completion of military training as a Medical Assistant, Nursing Assistant, or EMT/Basic is acceptable.
• High school graduation or equivalent is required.

Responsibilities

• Participate in the provision of care in the Emergency Department.
• Monitor cardiac rhythms under RN supervision.
• Support MercyOne Genesis Center philosophies and standards.

We are looking to hire a Clinical Assistant, ER As a Clinical Assistant, ER at MercyOne, you will participate in the provision of care, monitors cardiac rhythms under the supervision of the Registered Nurse and supports the philosophies and standards of Genesis Medical Center.

Position Title: Clinical Assistant, ER

Department: Emergency Care Center - East and Bettendorf ED

Schedule: 2nd shift (11am - 11:30pm or 1pm to 1:30am) Full Time .9 (36 hours per week) Every other weekend scheduling cadence - Saturday, Sunday

General Requirements Licensure/Registration: CNA, Medical Assistant, completion of a Military training course as a Medical Assistant, Nursing Assistant, or Emergency Medical Technician/Basic Special Training: Basic Life Support Training Preferred: EKG/Phlebotomy experience No experience required Education: High school graduation or equivalent
