Job summary

MercyOne Genesis is seeking a Registered Nurse for night shift in Davenport, IA Emergency Department. You will perform rapid assessments, develop emergency care plans, and deliver timely interventions for a 36-hour weekly schedule across three 12-hour shifts, with weekend rotation.

Essential duties include preparing patients for diagnostics, coordinating care, and ensuring safety and regulatory compliance. Iowa RN licensure and BLS are required; IL licensure within one year is expected, with BSN

Qualifications

• Associate degree in nursing is required.
• BSN preferred.
• Current Iowa RN license; IL RN license within 1 year required.
• BLS required.
• ACLS required only if unit has telemetry monitoring capabilities.
• Must complete Mandatory Reporter training within 3 months of hire.
• Strong language and math skills; high critical thinking.
• Basic computer skills required.

Schedule: Night Shift, 1900-0730 36 hours per week, 3 (12 hr) shifts Choice of every 2nd or 3rd weekend Holiday rotation.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• Associate degree in nursing required.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
• Current Iowa RN license, IL RN license within one year required.
• American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) required.
• American Heart Association Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) required only if the unit has telemetry monitoring capabilities.
• Proof of completion of Mandatory Reporter – Child and/or Dependent Adult Abuse training within three (3) months of hire
• High language, intermediate to high math, high critical thinking ability
• Basic computer skills required
