Job summary

MercyOne Genesis Davenport Medical Center is seeking a Clinical Assistant, ER to participate in the provision of patient care and monitor cardiac rhythms under the supervision of the Registered Nurse.

You will support Genesis Medical Center's philosophies and standards in the Emergency Care Center and contribute to a team delivering compassionate, patient-centered care in a busy environment. Training in Basic Life Support is required; CNA/Medical Assistant experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Licensure/Registration: CNA, Medical Assistant, completion of a Military training course as a Medical Assistant, Nursing Assistant, or Emergency Medical Technician/Basic
• Basic Life Support training required
• EKG/Phlebotomy experience preferred
• No experience required

Responsibilities

• Participate in the provision of care
• Monitor cardiac rhythms under the supervision of the Registered Nurse
• Support the philosophies and standards of Genesis Medical Center
• Assist in Emergency Care Center operations

As a Clinical Assistant, ER at MercyOne, you will participate in the provision of care, monitors cardiac rhythms under the supervision of the Registered Nurse and supports the philosophies and standards of Genesis Medical Center.

Position Title: Clinical Assistant, ER Department: Emergency Care Center - East and Bettendorf ED

Schedule

• 3rd shift (7pm - 7:30 am)
• Full Time .9 (36 hours per week)
• Every other weekend scheduling cadence - Saturday, Sunday

General Requirements

• Licensure/Registration: CNA, Medical Assistant, completion of a Military training course as a Medical Assistant, Nursing Assistant, or Emergency Medical Technician/Basic
• Special Training: Basic Life Support
• Training Preferred: EKG/Phlebotomy experience
• No experience required

Education

• High school graduation or equivalent
