SGMC Health in Valdosta, GA is seeking a Radiology Support Aide to assist the technologist across a range of radiological procedures at the Main Campus.
You will transport patients, perform clerical tasks, enter exams in RIS and verify images in PACS, supporting the Floor Supervisor and Chief Technologist. Candidates should be a high school graduate with strong communication skills and flexibility to work weekends on a 7on/7off schedule.

Full Time, 7on/7off, 6:30p-3a M-F 7p-7a Sat/Sun
Assists the technologist in a variety of radiological procedures. Assists the technologist by transporting patients as needed and performing clerical duties. Assists the Floor Supervisor, Chief Technologist or designee by completing exams on the Radiology Information System (RIS). Assists with verifying exams in PACS to get the images ready for dictation. Assists with obtaining patient information for filling out worksheets, ordering lab work or other clerical duties as required.
Duties require considerable sitting, standing, stooping bending, lifting (in excess of 50 pounds), pushing objects (wheelchairs, stretchers). Comfortable conditions, subject to irregular schedules, including weekends, exposed to high levels of stress. Work may require exposure to communicable diseases.
