Job description

Rural Health Group Pediatric Clinic Staff Opportunity

Rural Health Group, a multi-location Community Health Center in northeastern North Carolina, is seeking a CMA, LPN, or RN for a full-time position at our pediatric clinics located in Jackson. Hours are generally Monday-Friday, 8:00 am - 5:00/5:30 pm.

Starting rates for this position are:
CMA - $19/hr | LPN - $23/hr | RN - $30/hr

Preferred clinical skills and experience include:

  • Phlebotomy
  • Equipment usage (EKG, Clinitek, Hemoglobin)
  • Good documentation skills
  • Tracking and maintaining medical data
  • Immunizations (adult and pediatric)
  • Injections
  • IV therapy
  • Strong understanding of disease management for patient education under provider direction

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Active North Carolina LPN or RN license, or MA Certification/Registration
  • Outpatient physician office experience (strongly preferred)
  • Expanded nurse role experience (preferred)
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and telephone skills
  • Strong leadership and teamwork abilities
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a potentially stressful environment
  • Good judgment in responsibilities
  • Professional, pleasant demeanor; excellent customer service skills
  • Ability to build positive relationships with patients, staff, and providers
  • Knowledge of office equipment and Microsoft Office; basic computer skills; ability to learn eClinicalWorks EHR system
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus; translation capacity may require a language assessment
