Job summary

Enabli Health in California is seeking a Clinical Assistant to join our on-site care teams across multiple satellite locations including San Luis Obispo and surrounding areas. You’ll work with doctors to room patients, assist with procedures, and support patient flow from check-in to discharge.

No prior experience is required as we provide paid training through Scribe University and hands-on clinical instruction.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 18 years old and authorized to work in the U.S.
• Proof of vaccinations (may be required).
• Fluent in English (reading, writing, speaking).
• Strong listening and communication skills.
• Flexible schedule availability.
• Access to a laptop (you’ll be provided one after training but need your own for training).

Responsibilities

• Work with doctors to room patients.
• Assist with procedure setup.
• Perform point-of-care testing, take vitals, phlebotomy services.
• Manage patient flow, and support everything from check-in to discharge.
• Monitor pending labs and radiology orders for results to help guide patient care.
• Explain procedures to patients and obtain consent.
• Provide referral orders.
• Facilitate transition of care to urgent care or hospital.
• Provide other duties as needed.

Where You’ll Work

As an on-site Clinical Assistant, you could work in a variety of healthcare settings — from doctor’s offices to emergency departments. With over 80 specialties nationwide, we’ll match you to the best fit based on your schedule, interests, and location.

• Outpatient (Doctor’s Office): Typically weekday hours (around 8–5, Monday–Friday), with some offices offering evening or weekend shifts. Ideal if you prefer a consistent routine.
• Emergency Department: Open 24/7 — there’s always something happening! Great for those who need flexibility or are balancing school and other commitments.

Commute Radius

This position requires you to work at several satellite locations during a scheduled week. This commute includes San Luis Obispo, Atascadero, Paso Robles, and Arroyo Grande, CA. Please note, business needs may shift, and flexibility is encouraged. We welcome all interested candidates to apply.

Compensation range

Our compensation for this position is $23.00, depending on qualifications, experience, and geographic location.
