Job summary

The Center for Disability Services in the Capital Region is seeking Clinical Assistants to support daily treatment and independence for the people we serve. Openings are available at multiple locations; rate of pay is commensurate on experience and training completion.

Responsibilities include participating in planning and interdisciplinary teams, implementing individualized residential habilitation, and honoring personal choice and dignity while taking informed risks.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required; Associates Degree preferred.
• At least 1 year of work experience with Developmental Disabilities.
• Must be at least 18 years old to apply; able to lift 50 pounds.
• NYS driver’s license in good standing required.

• Assist, provide and promote independence in daily treatment, care and services.
• Serve as member of the individuals’ planning, implementation and interdisciplinary teams.
• Assist in the implementation of individualized residential habilitation services.
• Respect the individuals’ personal choice, lifestyles and their dignity to take informed risks.
