Job summary

The Hirsh Center for Arthritis and Sports Medicine in Delray Beach, FL is seeking a Medical Assistant (PTA, LPN, EMT-P, RT, MA, RMA or CMA) to join a team focused on patient experience. You will document in the EMR, assist physicians with procedures including ultrasound, draw blood, and manage medications while coordinating patient care across practices.

This full-time daytime role offers benefits, potential for advancement, and bonus opportunities.

Qualifications

• Certification (preferred)
• Minimum 3 years working in a private practice (preferred)
• Strong computer skills and experience using EMR systems, our practice utilizes NextGen
• Experience in rheumatology, oncology, orthopedics, sports medicine, and/or pain management (preferred)
• Excited to work in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

• Documenting in EMR system
• Drawing blood
• Assisting doctors with procedures, including ultrasound procedures
• Ordering, stocking, and tracking medications
• Coordinating patient care with other medical practices
• Ordering supplies, stocking supply closet and exam rooms
