Job summary

National Counseling Group (NCG) seeks a Clinical Assessment Specialist to perform CNAs, complete intake forms, and accurately populate client profiles in the EHR. You will collaborate with guardians, families, service providers, and MCOs to coordinate referrals and authorizations, ensuring precise documentation and timely follow-up.

The ideal candidate holds a counseling license or is a resident in counseling with strong organizational, time-management, and communication skills and proficiency

Qualifications

• Must be a licensed/counseling resident or licensed mental health professional.
• Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with diverse stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Conduct Comprehensive Needs Assessments (CNAs) with clients and guardians.
• Complete intake paperwork and document CNA findings in the EHR.
• Populate client profiles with diagnoses, medications, allergies, and other data.
• Coordinate referrals and service authorizations with families, providers, and MCOs.
• Communicate with care teams and leadership to ensure timely follow-up and documentation.
