Job summary

CHAS Health in Spokane, WA, is hiring for an IT Support Specialist to improve patient care by delivering superior customer service and technical assistance for digital health tools. You will support EHR–integrated technologies, real‑time video, and remote monitoring across PC, iOS, and Android platforms.

The role requires 1–2 years in customer service and hardware/software support in a healthcare setting preferred.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 1-2 years of experience providing customer service required.
  • Experience working with computer hardware, software, and peripherals in a professional environment is required.
  • Experience in healthcare setting preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Maintains knowledge of EHR-integrated technologies including real-time video, remote monitoring, applications, and digital tools on PC, iOS, and Android platforms.
  • Serves as on-demand support for clinic staff who experience technical issues with digital health programs including workflows, hardware and software.
  • Tracks and monitors open problems to ensure a high standard of customer service is met.
  • Escalates unresolved issues to the Applications team.
  • Creates and maintains documentation on common issues and processes.
  • Provides technical guidance and training to clinic staff during implementations.
  • Provides technical support to patients with various devices and operating systems.

Experience working with computer hardware, software, and peripherals in a professional environment is required. Experience in a healthcare setting preferred.Skills : Above average technical skills, problem solving skills, verbal and written communication skills are essential. Ability to work in a team environment, maintain a positive attitude, and a commitment to quality is required. Valid driver license, insurance and vehicle required. Commitment to supporting a safe and respectful environment is required.Physical Demands:Sitting at a workstation over two thirds of the day. Required to read from text and computer screen over two thirds of the day. Communicating occurs constantly throughout the day. Able to move around to different facilities if desired.
