Job summary

Elsevier is seeking an MD to join the Data Discovery and Enrichment Team as Clinical Analytics Specialist to support CDS product development for ClinicalKey at the point-of-care.

You will collaborate with Clinical Solutions and Education to provide analytics, build and validate a healthcare knowledge graph, and deliver insights for automation and domain ontologies. Strong English communication and cross-functional collaboration are essential.

Qualifications

• MD/MBBS/GP with clinical background and informatics exposure.
• Experience with clinical vocabularies and ontology modeling is a plus.
• Strong English communication and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Apply clinical knowledge to extract and integrate data in healthcare settings.
• Adapt domain ontologies for information extraction and data analysis.
• Collaborate with data scientists, clinicians, SMEs, taxonomists and analysts to deliver insights for automation and health market solutions.
• Model, validate, and maintain core extracted clinical relationships to support Elsevier's healthcare knowledge graph.
