Job summary

Elsevier seeks a Clinical Analytics Specialist (MD) to support CDS product development for ClinicalKey and related tools. You will work with the DDE team to validate medical information, develop analytics for improved search, and contribute to the healthcare knowledge graph.

You will collaborate with Clinical Solutions, Education, and cross-functional teams to drive innovation, growth, and data-driven decision making in health markets.

Qualifications

• MD-level clinical degree required (MD, MBBS, GP).
• Experience in evidence-based medicine, clinical research, epidemiology, biostatistics, and application to practice.
• Experience with SNOMED CT and ICD-10 beneficial; ontology modeling knowledge is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Apply clinical knowledge to extract and integrate data in healthcare environments.
• Adapt domain ontologies for information extraction, data modeling and analysis.
• Collaborate with data scientists, clinicians, SMEs, taxonomists, and data analysts to derive insights for automation and health market applications.
• Model, validate, and maintain core clinical relationships for Elsevier’s healthcare knowledge graph (H-graph).
• Contribute to high-quality automated indexing for search and discovery.
