Job summary

Malvern Treatment Centers in Philadelphia is seeking a full-time Clinical Aide for day shift (7am–7:30pm) to deliver direct patient care to adults and adolescents with chemical dependency and co-occurring disorders. The role supports the treatment team and helps with daily living activities and therapy carryover.

You will participate in unit programming, assist with drug screens, document in medical records, and help maintain safety and a calm milieu.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Associate degree in related mental health discipline from an accredited college or university.
• High School Diploma or equivalent with experience in a chemical dependency and/or mental health treatment setting.
• Current CPR Certification (American Health Association Healthcare Provider) preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide quality direct patient care to individuals with chemical dependency problems or co-occurring disorders.
• Assist with unit programming to facilitate therapy issues, leisure activities, and activities of daily living.
• Document significant interactions in the medical record and support safety procedures.
