Job summary

Qualifications

• Licensed Vocational Nurse or Registered Nurse preferred with current state of California certification.
• At least two years’ experience in a healthcare field, preferably in a skilled nursing facility.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the admission process with the hospital.
• Promptly respond to admission inquiries from hospitals, families, physicians, and other referral sources.
• Manage bed availability and coordinate safe room placement/bed selection for new admissions.
• Attend daily meetings to discuss census changes and potential admissions.
• Maintain knowledge of federal/state regulations and reimbursement guidelines.
• Observe resident rights and confidentiality and follow organizational policies.
