Position Summary

Roosevelt University College of Health, Science and Pharmacy- Schaumburg seeks candidates for a full-time, non-exempt Clinical Administrative Coordinator to support the Physician Associate (PA) Studies program. The Clinical Administrative Coordinator plays a key role in the development of the PA program and supports the development and administration of the PA program’s clinical education infrastructure under the direction of the Program Director and designated clinical faculty.

This is an in-person position that reports to the Program Director. Core duties include but are not limited to: clinical site development and affiliation agreements, clinical placement management, preceptor and student support, facilitate and manage communication with current students/faculty regarding all aspects of the PA program; support data collection and document retention needed for accreditation; plan and execute events and support events for the PA program, as well as led by other departments in the college.

The salary range for this position is $62,000-$66,000.

Equipment Operated

Basic office equipment (laptop computer, copier/multi-function device, fax and telephone).

Working Conditions

Normal climate-controlled office environment is provided. There is a need to move between the office, classrooms and/or event space. Occasional bending, stooping, lifting, pushing and/or pulling is required (typically less than 45 pounds of weight or pressure). Regular use of desktop computer is required, calling for frequent hand/wrist movement and repetition. Occasional travel within the local or regional setting may be required.

Duty and Responsibility

Clinical Administrative Duties:

  • Supports the recruitment and retention of sufficient clinical sites and preceptors across required clinical disciplines and settings
  • Build partnerships with healthcare systems to support student placements
  • Coordinate execution and tracking of clinical affiliation agreements
  • Ensure agreements are active and compliant prior to student placement
  • Develop and maintain student rotation schedules
  • Maintain accurate tracking of sites, preceptors, and assignments
  • Serve as a liaison for preceptors (onboarding, communication, engagement)
  • Monitor student compliance with clinical requirements
  • Serve as a central point of contact for faculty, staff and students in the PA program
  • Support accreditation reporting and program evaluation process
  • Understand college and university operations and address inquiries and problems in an accurate and timely manner
  • Manage student matriculation and enrollment records including those required for clinical experiences
  • Oversee PA assessment data collection and document maintenance as required for programmatic improvement and accreditation compliance.
