Job Details: Job Location: Richmond, VA 23226, Position Type: Full Time, Job Category: Nursing, Healix Infusion Therapy is seeking a Full Time Clinical Administrative Coordinator at one of our Infectious Disease Office Infusion Centers located in Richmond, VA!

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Maintains pumps, including inventory, quality control checks, tracking and related documentation.
  • Ensures sterile products compounding area is cleaned and maintained according to policy and procedure and USP<797> standards.
  • Prepares medications utilizing appropriate aseptic technique. Performs medication preparation accurately, without errors and minimal waste. Maintains accurate records of all preparations.
  • Coordinates with central pharmacy for dispensed medications to be delivered on time; checks medication in prior to dispensing to patients
  • Has work checked by a RN, as needed
  • Maintains all QC activities and documentation for the preparation areas
  • Assists in maintaining a clean and neat medication room and infusion center.
  • Participates in departmental quality control and quality assurance programs.
