Job Description

Innovative business clinician responsible for building and maintaining customer relationships and leading account teams within all assigned accounts. Accountable for delivering results that demonstrate value to the customer by identifying, demonstrating, and selling pharmaceutical care and cost solutions that meet desired outcomes. General management of the account, including P&L responsibility, and ensuring contract compliance. Develops and executes strategic plans for accounts in collaboration with sales and operations.

Responsibilities
  • Perform customer-centric pharmacy services.
  • Own overall account satisfaction for all assigned accounts.
  • Develop strong relationships with pharmacy departments or designated contacts.
  • Direct operations account managers to resolve customer service issues and support performance guarantees, minimizing penalties.
  • Maintain knowledge of all contract aspects with assigned customers, ensure ongoing performance through risk management, SLA adherence, claims payment accuracy, benefit analysis, and compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Create and maintain strategic business plans to foster long-term profitable relationships.
  • Ensure timely and consistent delivery of all customer and account-facing services.
  • Demonstrate the value of pharmacy solutions (unit cost, utilization management, patient care).
  • Identify opportunities for additional services to meet unmet customer needs.
  • Support clinical operations, claims processing programs, and client-specific pharmacy functions.
  • Assist with customer service and prior authorization inquiries.
  • Manage financial aspects, including revenue, costs, and EBITDA targets.
  • Develop opportunities based on understanding customer goals and product strategies.
  • Drive upselling of pharmacy solutions through consultative methods and coordinate contract execution with sales.
  • Support renewal activities for assigned accounts.
  • Identify and retain high-performing team members, ensuring staff training and development.
Education & Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy
  • At least 2 years of management leadership experience
  • At least 5 years of pharmacy experience

Must be eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.

Additional Qualifications
  • 3-5 years in clinical operations, quality, network, pharmacy, project management, or managed care residency.
  • Proven project planning, organization, and control skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Basic financial analysis capabilities.
  • Experience with project management and health plans.
  • Provider experience preferred.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master’s Degree
  • PharmD and state pharmacy licensure
Physical Demands
  • Remain stationary 50% of the time; able to move or traverse as needed.
  • Operate a computer and office equipment constantly.
  • Communicate effectively, exchanging accurate information.
  • Occasionally lift/move up to 10-25 pounds.

Employees must comply with security responsibilities, legal, regulatory, contractual, and internal policies.

Potential pay ranges from $108,000 to $184,000 annually, based on experience and skills.
