Job summary

UCHealth is seeking a Patient Care Assistant (PCA) to join the UCHealth Inv OrthoSpine Surg Ctr in Englewood, CO. This full-time, onsite role offers daytime shifts and compensation ranging from $19.67 to $25.57 per hour, depending on experience.

You will provide direct patient care under supervision, assist with daily living activities, take vital signs, and help maintain caring, well-organized care areas. A valid BLS certification within 30 days of hire is required, and UCHealth supports career

Qualifications

• Direct care includes gathering vital signs, measuring blood glucose, and monitoring input/output.
• Assists patients with activities of daily living and mobility.
• Keeps care area stocked, clean and orderly.
• BLS Healthcare Provider within 30 days of hire required.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct patient care under the supervision of a nurse or healthcare provider.
• Prioritizes wellness and patient perspectives.
• Models proficiency through precepting those new to healthcare and UCHealth.
• Effectively partners with specialized ancillary team members.
