Job summary

Qualifications

• Associates Degree in Behavioral Health or related field required.
• Minimum of 3 years experience in customer service with a focus on behavioral health and substance abuse treatments.
• Knowledge of insurance verification and ability to work with multiple computer systems.

Responsibilities

• Record complete and accurate clinical information for patients.
• Determine placement: Inpatient, Partial Hospital, or Outpatient.
• Verify insurance information and complete registration steps.
• Schedule patients in CERNER for programs based on criteria.
• Collaborate with PAS, Inpatient Units, Social Work, and Program Managers.
• Maintain competency via hospital training and Net Learning.
• Provide referral information to patients and providers.
• Utilize AVATAR, Microsoft Word/Outlook, Teletracking in daily duties.
