Qualifications

• Montana RN license or bachelor’s degree in nursing required.
• One year working as a school or community health nurse preferred.
• Two years’ experience Medical/Surgical preferred.
• One year experience ER preferred.
• BLS & CPR (required upon hire).
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to communicate effectively with patients and care team.

Responsibilities

• Triage phone responses and assess patient symptoms.
• Schedule patient appointments with appropriate healthcare providers/facilities.
• Document information provided to patients in health record systems.
• Notify ED RN of potential patients and report on current condition.
• Educate patients and/or family members about care procedures and health maintenance.
• Assist in coordinating care and ensuring timely follow-up.
