Job summary

Bitterroot Health in Hamilton, MT is seeking a Clinic Surgical Coordinator (LPN/MA) to support the Surgical Associates Clinic. The role involves preparing patients for procedures, providing comprehensive care, and coordinating with the surgical team to ensure readiness and smooth operations.

The position requires BLS or higher, a Montana LPN license or MA certification, and preferred experience in Surgical Services. Full-time, 36 hours/week with a full benefits package is offered.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct and indirect patient care in the clinic to prepare patients for procedures.
• Meet psychosocial, physical and general care needs and communicate with patients and family.
• Coordinate with medical providers and clinic staff regarding test results and symptoms.
• Maintain regulatory requirements, policies and procedures in the clinic setting.
• Under supervision of a medical provider, ensure smooth patient flow and documentation.

Clinic Surgical Coordinator LPN / MA opportunity in beautiful Hamilton, Montana

Bitterroot Health is seeking candidates to fill an LPN / MA – Clinic Surgical Coordinator position in our Surgical Associates Clinic. The Clinic Surgical Coordinator will provide indirect and direct patient care in the office/clinic setting to ensure patient’s readiness for a surgical procedure. The position provides care that meets the psychosocial, physical and general aspects of care; meets the communication needs of patient and family; provides care that reflects initiative and responsibility indicative of professional expectations, under the supervision of a medical provider and registered nurse. Maintains regulatory requirements, nursing and office/clinic policies, procedures and standards. Communicates with medical providers and team members about the patient’s results of diagnostic studies and symptomatology.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Licensures, Certifications, Registrations: BLS or higher. High school diploma or equivalent. For LPN a Montana state license is required. Medical Assistants must be certified through completion of an accredited NCCA (National Commission for Certifying Agencies) exam.
• Job Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: See essential functions.
• Experience: Preferred Surgical Services experience
