Job summary

Providence Swedish is seeking an experienced sleep clinic administrator to oversee operations across multiple locations, schedule technical sleep studies, and manage sleep program billing and medical records, including transcription. This role supports provider schedules and leads over 25 staff.

You will direct clerical and back-office staff, assign tasks, set priorities, and perform diversified administrative duties with a strong focus on customer service.

Qualifications

• Post-high school education in relevant disciplines.
• 5 years in a customer service environment and extensive computer usage
• 1 year of experience in a supervisory role

Responsibilities

• Manage sleep clinics across multiple locations and schedule sleep studies.
• Oversee billing and medical records, including transcription, for the sleep program.
• Maintain provider schedules and supervise 25+ staff.
• Direct and schedule clerical/back-office staff, assign tasks and priorities.
• Perform diversified administrative duties and back-up transcription.
• Maintain excellent customer service and patient experience.
• Managerial responsibilities without budgetary decisions.

This position is responsible for the efficient functioning of sleep clinics at multiple locations, the scheduling of technical sleep studies, and all sleep program billing and medical records including transcription. Maintains provider schedules Supervises over 25 staff. Directs and schedules clerical and back office staff, assigns specific tasks and responsibilities and sets priorities. Performs diversified administrative duties. Does back-up transcription and clean-up requiring specialized sleep medicine knowledge. Maintains excellent customer service. In short, managerial responsibilities without budgetary or hiring/ firing.
