Job summary

UT Health East Texas is seeking a Clinic Supervisor in Tyler, TX for day shift, full-time. You will assist the clinic manager and help oversee the clinical environment to ensure excellent patient and physician experiences and timely completion of tasks.

Required are a High School Diploma or GED and BLS within 14 days of hire. Strong ICD9/CPT coding knowledge across all insurance plans is essential, plus basic computer and window skills for documentation.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.
• Strong background in ICD9 and CPT coding and all insurance plan types (HMO, PPO, Managed Care, Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial insurances).
• Basic personal computer skills and comfort with Microsoft Windows operating system; database and word processing skills
• Patient record documentation skills

Responsibilities

• Assists the clinic manager and provides support in overseeing the clinical environment to ensure great patient and physician experiences occur and that clinic operational tasks are completed in a timely and accurate manner.
