Specialty Mission

As an LPN or CMA in our Specialty Clinic, you’ll be a valued and essential part of a dynamic, compassionate care team. In this role, you’ll have the unique opportunity to build meaningful connections with patients while making a direct, positive impact on their care journey.

You’ll work within a variety of Specialty services — including Orthopedics, Telehealth Services, Podiatry, General Surgery, Pain Management, Urology, Endocrinology, and Rheumatology — offering an exciting, fast-paced environment with endless opportunities to learn and grow.

Duties & Responsibilities

As a LPN/CMA at Lakewood Health System, you are expected to provide compassionate, patient-centered care while maintaining high standards of clinical practice.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Deliver direct patient care following clinical practices, provider direction, and within your scope of practice.
  • Accurately document care, patient interactions, medications, and procedures in the electronic health record (EHR).
  • Assist with patient assessments, vitals, medication administration, and clinical procedures as appropriate.
  • Manage patient flow, room preparation, and maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked clinical environment.
  • Support patient education, care instructions, and follow-up coordination.
  • Communicate professionally and effectively with patients, families, and the care team.
  • Adapt to workflow changes and provide dependable, flexible support to fellow team members.
  • Protect patient confidentiality and uphold safety standards and organizational policies at all times.

Position Type

  • Full-time
  • 64-80 hours every two weeks (per pay period)
  • Monday through Friday
Qualifications

Qualifications

  • Current MN LPN Licensure or Medical Assistant Certification
  • Current BLS certification
