Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN Clinic for a travel nursing job in Duluth, GA. The RN will provide outpatient clinic care, coordinate patient flow, and support physicians in a fast-paced setting.

Requirements include 1 year of clinic/outpatient RN experience, current BLS, and eligibility for state licensure. ACLS and PALS certifications may be required; travel shifts are 12 hours at night, 36 hours per week.

Qualifications

• 1 year RN experience in Clinic or Outpatient setting.
• Current BLS certification required.
• Eligible for State licensure; additional certifications may be required.

Responsibilities

• Take patient histories, vital signs, and perform assessments.
• Administer medications, injections, and vaccinations.
• Assist providers with minor procedures and diagnostic testing.
• Educate patients on treatment plans, meds, and preventive care.
• Perform wound care and basic lab work; specimen collection.
• Monitor patient progress and communicate concerns to providers.
• Document nursing care and patient interactions.
• Coordinate patient flow; keep exam rooms clean and stocked.
• Follow infection control, safety, and HIPAA regulations.
