Job summary

Virginia Commonwealth University Health is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for a Multispecialty Clinic in downtown Richmond. The role supports ambulatory primary care with a team of attendings and residents.

Clinic hours are Monday–Friday 8am–5pm with no weekends, nights, or holidays required. The position requires Virginia RN licensure (or eligible/compact state), 1+ year clinic experience preferred, and BLS certification.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year RN experience, preferably in a clinic setting.
• Diploma or Associate degree from a nursing program recognized by the state board.
• All RNs without a Bachelor’s degree must enroll in an RN to BSN program within two years.

Responsibilities

• Administer prescribed medications following physician orders.
• Provide direct age-specific nursing care and education.
• Deliver and document care per an integrated care plan and policies.
• Supervise and organize tasks for other staff as assigned.
