Job summary

Huntsville Hospital is seeking an RN to join the clinic team, providing ongoing patient care, teaching and counseling to patients and families, and assisting providers as needed. You will act as a lead clinician or dedicated telephone assistant when required.

The role requires an Alabama RN license (or multi-state), at least one year of clinic experience, and skills in venipuncture, injections, and fast-paced multitasking. Proficiency with computer terminals, fax, and copy machines is essential.

Qualifications

• RN license valid in Alabama or multi-state license
• Minimum of one year clinic experience in direct patient care setting
• Venipuncture and injections required
• Excellent communication skills; able to adapt in a fast-paced environment; prioritize tasks

Responsibilities

• Act as collaborative member of the clinic team to ensure continuity and quality patient care.
• Assess and provide appropriate interventions for patient and family health concerns, including teaching, counseling, and support for providers and staff.
• May serve as lead clinician or dedicated telephone assistant to assist the provider.
