Job summary

Mcpherson Hospital, Inc. is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Clinic to work full-time, including a float role across the Surgery Clinic and Family Practice Support.

The RN will provide patient-centered care, perform routine nursing tasks, and support clinic operations under supervision of the Nursing Director or provider. Requirements include an active RN license or nursing degree and BLS certification within 6 months.

Qualifications

• Active RN license required.
• Associate's degree in nursing required.
• BLS verification within 6 months of hiring.

Responsibilities

• Triage patients on-site and via telephone.
• Document provider orders, nursing actions, and interventions in patient records.
• Provide skilled nursing care including administration of medications, IV fluids, and immunizations.
• Assist in routine clinic tasks and maintain emergency supplies, stock medications, immunizations, forms, etc.
• Assist in orientation and education of new nursing staff.
• Follow Infection Control guidelines and OSHA standards.
