Job summary

Duke University Health System's Duke Hospital in Durham, NC seeks a Registered Nurse to join the Cardiology & Pulmonary Clinic 2F/2G. You will provide and document professional nursing care, according to physician orders and established policies.

The role requires twelve months of clinical experience, a BSN or higher, and active NC nursing licensure within 90 days; BLS is required. Relocation assistance may be available based on eligibility.

Qualifications

• Twelve months of appropriate clinical experience is required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (or higher) required; ADN or Diploma holders must pursue BSN within 2 years.
• Nurses with a compact license must obtain North Carolina nursing licensure within 90 days of start date.
• BLS certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Plan, provide, supervise, and document professional nursing care following the nursing process.
• Use professional judgment to tailor care based on patient needs.
• Delegate tasks and supervise both licensed and unlicensed staff.
• Act as team leader/charge nurse for a unit or group of patients.
