Job summary

IU Health is seeking a Clinic RN to join our outpatient team. The RN will take on some charge RN responsibilities as needed and help support daily clinic operations to ensure patient visits are completed before the day ends.

Applicants should have an ASN with BSN preferred, an active Indiana RN license (or NLC), and BLS certification. Additional Life Support certifications may be required per unit policy.

Qualifications

• ASN required; BSN preferred.
• Active RN license in Indiana or NLC RN license.
• Graduate from nationally accredited nursing program; exceptions for >2 years experience.
• BLS certification required.
• Other Advanced Life Support certifications may be required per unit.
• Ability to assess patients with/without face-to-face interaction.
• Understanding of legal implications of patient care.

Responsibilities

• Take on some Charge RN responsibilities as needed.
• Support daily clinic operations.
• Ensure all patient visits are completed before the clinic closes.
• No Phone Triage; No Weekends; No holidays; No call.
