Coryell Health is hiring a Clinic Registration Clerk – Float to provide friendly, accurate registration support across multiple clinic locations. You will greet patients, register for appointments, verify demographics and insurance, collect copays, and schedule or reschedule visits.

This full-time, hourly role covers coverage across departments, requires strong data-entry and communication skills, and a commitment to HIPAA privacy and professional front-desk service in a busy clinic environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in healthcare registration or clerical work preferred.
• Strong computer and data-entry skills.
• Excellent communication and customer service.
• Detail-oriented with high accuracy.
• Ability to multitask in a busy clinic.
• Flexible to work across clinic areas.
• Maintain confidentiality and HIPAA compliance.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and visitors in a friendly and professional manner.
• Register patients accurately and efficiently for clinic appointments.
• Verify demographics, identification, insurance, and eligibility information.
• Obtain signatures, forms, and consents.
• Schedule and reschedule patient appointments.
• Answer calls and direct patients to the right department.
• Collect copays, deductibles, and other payments.
• Provide information about appointments and procedures.
• Float between departments to provide coverage as needed.
• Maintain accurate patient information in the EMR system.
• Protect patient privacy and maintain HIPAA compliance.
• Communicate with patients, providers, and staff.
• Assist with resolving registration or insurance issues.
• Maintain a clean, welcoming front-desk environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
