Job summary

Dallas Center United Methodist in Ferris, TX seeks a Registered Nurse to provide primary care, including assessment, treatment planning, and medical care evaluation. The role requires Texas RN license and at least 2 years of nursing experience, with BSN preferred.

Strong communication and sound judgement are essential. The position operates Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM–5:00 PM, with an 8x5 day shift in the United States.

Qualifications

• Graduate of nursing program; BSN preferred.
• Current Texas Nursing License issued by the Texas Board of Nursing.
• Minimum 2 years in a back office or two years nursing experience.
• Strong communication skills with sound judgement and discretion.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care based on guidelines, standards, and laws.
• Document health history, chief complaint, vitals, and risk factors.
• Administer medications and monitor treatment progress and response.
• Delegate tasks as allowed by the Nurse Practice Act.
• Educate patients and families on health status and chronic condition management.
• Document data using medical records systems and forms.
• Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to improve care.
• Monitor quality assurance data and chronic care management.
• Assist Office Manager in developing clinical policies and procedures.
• Report problems to the Office Manager and participate in problem solving.
• Follow established policies and procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
