Dallas Center United Methodist is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide primary care to patients, including assessment, treatment, care planning and medical care evaluation in a back-office medical setting in Texas.

The ideal candidate holds a Texas RN license, a BSN is preferred, and has at least two years of nursing or back-office experience, with strong communication, judgement and discretion to support a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an accredited nursing program with RN licensure.
• Current Texas Nursing License issued through the Texas Board of Nursing.
• Excellent communication, judgement and discretion.
• Minimum of 2 years in a back office within a medical setting or two years nursing experience.

Responsabilités

• Provides patient care based on guidelines, standards and laws.
• Obtains and documents health history, chief complaint, vitals and risk factors.
• Executes prescribed treatments, administers meds, and monitors progress.
• Delegates as allowed under the Nurse Practice Act.
• Educates patients and families about health status and conditions.
• Documents data using medical records systems and forms.
• Participates in the multidisciplinary team to improve care.
• Tracks quality data for acute and chronic care management.
• Assists the Office Manager in developing clinical policies.
• Reports problems to the Office Manager and participates in solving them.
• Follows established policies and performs other duties as assigned.
