Job summary

The Medical College of Wisconsin, Inc. is seeking a registered nurse to provide professional nursing care in a clinic setting. You will develop and implement nursing plans of care, communicate results and treatment instructions to patients, and document care in the medical record.

You will triage patient concerns by phone, coordinate referrals and tests, and help maintain smooth patient flow. A Wisconsin RN license and clinic experience are required or preferred depending on the role.

Qualifications

• Associate degree required; BSN preferred.
• Current Wisconsin RN license.
• Experience in a clinic, doctor’s office, or urgent care is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care to patients and families.
• Develop and implement nursing plan of care within scope of license.
• Communicate plan of care and test results to patients as prescribed.
• Triage patient concerns by telephone and provide nursing advice.
• Document treatments in the medical record accurately.
• Assist with care coordination and referrals as needed.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and participate in team-based care.
