Job summary

The Blue Venture Fund is seeking a skilled Clinic Registered Nurse in Spokane, WA. The RN will provide clinical and administrative support to keep the clinic running smoothly, assisting providers and patients with care, documentation, and daily operations.

Responsibilities include phlebotomy, vital signs, injections, medication reconciliation, and patient education, with a focus on HIPAA compliance and patient experience.

Qualifications

• Active Unencumbered RN license in WA.
• Minimum 2 years nursing experience, outpatient or hospital preferred.
• BLS certification required.
• Proficient with computers and MS Office.
• Strong written and verbal communication.
• De-escalation skills preferred.
• Ability to work independently or in a team.
• Commitment to serving underserved populations.
• Willingness to learn about chemical dependency.

Responsibilities

• Administrative tasks to support clinic flow for in-person and virtual patients.
• Obtain and maintain required patient documentation, consents, and releases.
• Collect patient copays and payments per insurance policies.
• Maintain in-clinic funds and bank deposits.
• Provide clinical support within RN scope per provider orders and policies.
• Phlebotomy, urine collection, vital signs, medication reconciliation, observed dosing, injections.
• Educate patients on treatment plans and answer questions.
• Collaborate with providers and interdisciplinary team members.
• Perform routine maintenance and inventory management.
• Ensure HIPAA and 42 CFR Part 2 compliance.
• Maintain punctual attendance and professional communication.
• Support team through training and cross-platform communication.
• Flexible duties including community outreach or clinic development.
