Lucas County Health Center is seeking a full-time Clinic Receptionist to manage patient referrals, coordinate with insurance companies for pre-authorizations and benefits, and schedule testing for referred patients. You will communicate clearly with patients and support front-desk operations.

Qualifications

• Abuse Reporter certification required within 6 months of hire.
• Ability to read, write, speak and understand English well.
• Strong verbal and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work with computers and various software programs.

Responsibilities

• Receives and sends patient referral information.
• Works with insurance companies for pre-authorizations and benefits and communicates information to patients.
• Schedules testing and procedures for referred patients. Functions as Clinic Receptionist as needed.
