Job summary

UMC Health System is seeking a full-time Clinic Radiology & Laboratory Technician to perform radiologic imaging procedures and laboratory services, while delivering compassionate patient care in a clinic setting.

The ideal candidate will hold an Associate Degree in Radiologic Technology (CAHEA-approved), be AART/TMB certified (or equivalent), and have phlebotomy experience. Clinic experience and strong safety practices are valued.

Qualifications

• High School diploma required.
• Associate Degree in Radiologic Technology from CAHEA-approved program.
• Associate degree in chemical, physical, or biological science or medical laboratory technology.
• Must be AART/TMB certified, MT (ASCP), MLT (ASCP), PBT (ASCP) or equivalent.
• One year of experience as a Lab Technician/Radiology Technician is desired.
• Venipuncture experience is preferred.
• Experience in a clinic setting is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Obtain diagnostic radiographic images and perform phlebotomy.
• Provide patient instruction with care and respect.
• Follow provider directions on imaging area and positioning with patient.
• Explain procedures and answer questions regarding procedures.
• Maintain radiology supplies, equipment, and inventory; assist with billing and accreditation tasks.
