Job summary

UMC Family Medicine at Orchard Park seeks a Clinic Radiology Technician to perform radiologic imaging and laboratory analyses while delivering compassionate patient care. You will work under the Clinic Manager and Director, handling equipment, shielding, and documentation in the patient medical record.

The ideal candidate holds CAHEA-approved Radiologic Technology certification, ASCP or equivalent credentials, and provides quality control and safety in a clinic setting.

Qualifications

• High School diploma required.
• Associate Degree in Radiologic Technology from a CAHEA-approved program required.
• Associate degree in chemical, physical, or biological science or medical laboratory technology.
• Certification: AART/TMB MT/MLT/PBT or equivalent.
• One year of Lab/Radiology experience desired.
• Venipuncture experience preferred.
• Clinic setting experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform radiologic imaging procedures and laboratory analyses.
• Assist in patient care with instruction, reassurance, and respect.
• Take imaging direction from providers and position patients accordingly.
• Maintain radiology supplies, equipment, and clean, safe environment.
• Document procedures in patient records and comply with accreditation standards.
