Job summary

New Season is seeking a Clinic Manager to provide management and leadership direction for the Akron clinic on a day-to-day basis. You will collaborate with the Medical Director, Regional Director, clinic staff, and corporate staff to ensure patient well-being and safety.

The role requires strong experience in healthcare administration, compliance with federal and state regulations, and the ability to recruit and supervise staff while maintaining accurate financial and clinical records.

Qualifications

• Education, licensure, and/or certification needed per state requirements
• Strong knowledge of Methadone treatment, counseling practices, HIPAA, and ethics
• Minimum four years of experience in substance abuse, psychology, sociology, counseling, or related field
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; ability to multitask and prioritize

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with local, state, federal, and CMS rules, regulations, and policies
• Manage clinic budgets including payroll, supplies, and overtime
• Actively recruit clinic staff, including contract labor
• Maintain accurate daily cash transactions and daily medication inventory at the clinic
• Provide administrative and clinical supervision for all staff
• Monitor clinic staff and contract labor performance
• Report regulatory concerns to Regional Director and CCO
• Develop staff training and ensure licensure/certification
• Maintain patient intake, admission, discharge, and aftercare paperwork
• Develop patient group session schedule for counseling staff
• Ensure patient progress is documented in charts
• Participate in CARF conformance and state audits
• Conduct regular staff meetings and treatment team meetings
• Maintain relationships with local, state, federal authorities
• Ensure staff understand policies and 42 CFR Part 2 and 45 CFR Parts 160 & 164
• Complete staff annual performance reviews and stakeholder surveys
• Oversee end-of-year data gathering

Education

Master's degree or Bachelor's + 2 years healthcare experience
