Qualifications

  • Strong written and verbal communication and organization skills.

Responsibilities

  • Welcome and assist patients while supporting an efficient flow through the practice.
  • Schedule patient appointments and maintain accurate records and daily schedules.
  • Handle incoming calls, take messages, and connect callers with resources.
  • Support patient check-in/check-out and verify registration information.
  • Process referrals and prior authorizations documentation.
  • Prepare, scan, file, and retrieve documents in patient records.
  • Process billing forms and collect co-pays when required.
  • Open and distribute mail and faxes and manage memos and forms.
  • Monitor waiting room and maintain smooth day-to-day operations.
