Job summary

Native American Health Center in Oakland, CA is seeking a Clinic Physician to deliver comprehensive primary, preventive, chronic, and urgent care within an integrated multidisciplinary team.

Under the supervision of the Chief Medical Officer, you will conduct exams, interpret tests, develop treatment plans, educate patients, and maintain timely EHR documentation, while collaborating with specialists and serving diverse Native communities.

Qualifications

  • MD or DO required with California medical license and DEA registration.
  • Board certification or board-eligibility preferred.
  • Bilingual Spanish skills are a plus.
  • Experience in a community health center setting is desirable.

Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive primary care services.
  • Conduct physical exams and diagnostic assessments.
  • Order and interpret laboratory studies.
  • Develop treatment plans and prescribe medications.
  • Educate patients and families.
  • Maintain timely EHR documentation.

Position Overview

Qualifications Required

  • Community Health Center/FQHC experience
  • Three or more years community clinic experience

  • OCHIN EPIC EHR experience
