Job summary

Cullman Internal Medicine PC in Cullman, Alabama, is looking for an experienced phlebotomist to join their clinical laboratory team. The role involves specimen collection, ensuring organized workspaces, and providing patient support within a dedicated team.

The ideal candidate will work Monday to Friday from 9 AM to 6 PM, supporting a total of 9 physicians and 10 Nurse Practitioners.

Are you an experienced phlebotomist looking for a new home? Cullman Internal Medicine (CIM) has been in practice for 50 years and has provided leading edge treatment to patients in our community. This position works along 5 other team members to support 9 physicians and 10 Nurse Practitioners within the practice.

We are seeking a highly skilled, motivated phlebotomist to join our clinical laboratory. Our clinic strives to provide world‑class compassion Patient centered care.

Clinic hours are 8‑AM to 5‑PM. This position work hours will be 9‑AM to 6‑PM Monday–Friday.

Responsibilities

• Collection and labeling of specimens as outlined in the medical requisition
• Developed and effective collection techniques relate to groups such as geriatric patients
• Maintained an organized and clean work area based on state health laws and the guidelines of our medical organization
• Answer patient questions regarding collection techniques and offer additional resources on the collection process at patient’s requests
• Adept at venipuncture, phlebotomy, and finger sticks
